Pakumaru is a theme character for the promotion of the project.
Pakumaru was created by Kobe’s most famous illustrator
Hideaki Yamasaki
aka
The Rocket Gold Star.
This adorable character pops up everywhere in Kobe, singing, dancing,
and introducing
Kobe’s local food products
to the world.
Let's dance with Pakumaru!
The dance was choreographed by
the pioneer of Kobe’s street dance, dancer QUE
The theme song “farms and sea” was
produced by the Kobe-born,
world-renowned jazz pianist
Makoto Ozone,
and composed and performed by
pianist
Kento Tsubosaka and
singer Uta
who Mr. Ozone admires very much.
Pakumaru’s cute and fun animation for this promotion was
brought to life
by the miracle collaboration of these incredible artists.
This charming animation will definitely convey
the appeal of
Kobe’s local food ingredients to all people across the world.
In the last part of the English version,
you’ll find that the original Japanese lyrics remain as they are.
It is because we would like to welcome you to remember and sing the cute Japanese lyrics
while enjoying Kobe’s local food products.
Mogu mogu paku paku
(munch munch chomp chomp)
Paku paku maru maru
(eat eat happy happy)
Pakumaru shiyo!
(let’s enjoy like Pakumaru!)
Memorize this part and sing it together!
Hope you enjoy it!
