Kobe figs are shipped to nearby areas in the city right when they reach their ripest and most delicious state.
Since they’re locally produced and consumed in Kobe, they offer a softness and rich flavor that can’t be experienced in other regions.
During the Kobe Fig Fair, various stores offered menu items featuring seasonal figs. The event was held from September 1 to October 31, 2024, with 48 participating stores, including restaurants and retail shops.
